OUR LAST PLAY WAS
Almost, Maine a play by John Cariani
A poignant and off beat comedy about love and loss.
Sometimes in life one moment can change everything....
There is something about the residents of Almost, Maine, they have a sense of whimsy that is rarely experienced in the real world. We come across them on a winters eve, in various locations in the Northern town, wrestling, in their own quirky ways, with love. Unbeknownst to our residents, the Northern Lights are filling the winter sky with magic and in that moment their lives are forever changed.
“A beautifully structured play, with nifty surprise endings” [exploring the subject of] “falling in and out of love.” The New York Times, 2013
“Joyful, sad, and haunting. Delivers unexpected twists.” The Milwaukee Sentinal
“Almost, Maine explores the thunderclap of love and the scorched earth that sometimes follows.” The New York Times, 2006
“A charmer! Unexpected magic lingers in the air like some breath on a cold winter’s night. John Cariani aims for the heart by way of the funny bone.” New Jersey Star-Ledger
“Playful, romantic and smart.” AM New York
OUR NEXT PLAY WILL BE A BRITISH COMEDY IN APRIL 2020
Dinner starts at 6:00pm
Show starts at 7:30pm
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the dinner or show to check in and find your seats.
